stupid us
the world is nearing apocalypse. i’m pretty sure of that.
willingly,we’re continuously being subjected to unfairness and so much torture we’re getting too used to it. unsurprisingly, some even swear they love it.
by all means , please analyse these situations:
1. we pay water bills and all the cukai pintu, cukai taksir n the sorts but yet, the water coming out from our taps, are murky ,brown n obviously contaminated with side products of the metal oxidation process.eventually,we get a water filter n fork out more money, and we,being authentic malaysians, pry among the neighbours by : " hey, mine is shinier, bigger and more efficient, and it comes with a 5 year warranty and look! free, water tumbler. howzat?"
i can almost hear the water filter companies go laughing all the way to the bank.
2.we have to ridiculously pay 5 dollar per hour for our car to be parked in filthy, swampy carpacks after 15 minutes of searching of vacancy, and then i see a sign saying :DISCLAIMER: " we will not be held liable to any damage, loss or misfortunes towards ur vehicle. thank u." how they even dare say thank u, you mother@#%%%$#!!
3.oil prices go up and credit cards are being debated not to b used in oil pumps. i havent got a problem with that. but what do troubles me is the very scarce chances untill it comes up to the point of luxury to get ur windscreen cleaned,ur tyres pumped n ur receipt be delivered. and whats with the filthy toilets and impossibly high prices in their convenience stores? wake up people, WE PAY THEM 4 THE SERVICES.
3. there’re at least 37 toll booths in klang valley only. to build highways they say, for driving convenience they say,to increase efficiency and time they say ,almost everytime they plan to built new tolls.(we just love u so much samy vellu)
frustratingly, we still stuck in 3 hour traffic jams and guess what, the longest one was lining up to get our tolls paid in toll booths.
God forbid, i hope that one day, one very weary, tired consumer will realise this blatant injustice n stand up to have their say, but wait,"too fussy-lah", "can still make a living what..", "why bising2 this is life man"…n heaven forbid, how many other millions of excuses will come up.
At least, i have done my part. * Sigh*
p’s: thank u patrick
