amal VS bakti+ehsan+iman+jujur

i guess its just went down to tradition. the all- time hidden rivalry between the best class in school and the-not-so-best classes.
i’d  like to call it as Cold War II , as it is discrete, unspoken, body-languange oriented and expressed verbally only when among 2 or 3 groups of people. but the heat is there, how good it is hidden.
unconciously, teachers actually add to the spark, always  labour praises towards amal. even constantly  promoting amal to other clasess,( read: " cuba tengok budak amal tu…") much to their irritation and ultimately elevating amal up to the ultra-superior level.
the interesting part is, amalians didnt ask for the war, it just somewhat happens. nobody pulled the trigger, it just shoots itself. call it the "amal syndrome"

true, some of the amalians actions is not to b desired by not -so brilliant -students.
i’ve been there.the class is a tad too…..quite.silent.dull.unexciting.
one english teacher even called our class in frustration as unresponsive. silence means a "yes" or if lucky, a mere nod and a " no" is a jumble between squinting our eyes and confused expressions.
but then again, amrol qays is always there to save the day fom total silence.
talking with boys is non -existent, even if there is, mayb sbab mintak paper or something, but to have a casual, non-obligatory chit-chat, dream on. we, amalians prefer to sms.( read again: hatta-pah, dino-sumer laki, sal-rahim, mai -zol, azim-fizah, peon-sumer pompuan)
And this had been their recipe for continuing success, theyre more focused, attention is strictly academic, less interruptions and always get the work done b4 habis prep malam( mostly due to peer pressure).

as an ex-bakti also, i can make a comparison between these two classes. the difference is evident.i kindof redeemed my social life outside text books.
i never thought that school will b fun, i got it back in bakti, b4 this i thought jokes are unallowed towards teachers, and i could never imagine there will exist a time where guys can talk to girls without the awkwardness, just plain friends…BUT it comes along with its own drawbacks..
theres too much jokes untill lessons r interrupted, procrastination is tolerable, being me the pesident
and getting a C is completely normal..which  on the contrary  means its-the-end-of-my -life back in amal.

either way, even though other classes would just love to wipe the smart-boy-smirk on amalians faces , we couldnt help but admit the unpleasant truth, if it works fo them then theres nothing we could do.theyre happy that way, get it?
i myself, although missing terribly all the fun, i cant imagine what would i be if im not in amal,. tauke sim card kot..

at least amal and bakti and iman and ehsan and jujur have one thing in common.
We all sleep in class.

p/s : this is my 20 th post. eyeyeyeyeyeyeyeyeyeye…

As an Amalian a gazillion years ago, i have to agree. I would have loved to see what it was like not being in Amal to actually understand what the deal was.
About the spark added by the teaching faculty i have to agree as in my time those days a hundred years ago, they even seperated those “PREDICTED” to get 10 A1s in the meeting room- WHAT IS UP WITH THAT?
Though amalians have their issues, we dont really click compared to the other classes but that doesnt mean we have things up our butts. only a true amalian feels that and i wouldnt change that experience for the world. i know u would too!

i met u guys only last yr, so i think honestly yes… amal’s middle name is QUIET. it’s like they’re talking in whispers… no.. but u guys just dont make that much noise compared with the other classes. i taught two clsses, i love both classes the same. hmmm ever heard of the expression, love them similarly but treat them differently, that’s wot i tried, some tricks backfired tho. i was called a ‘pilih kaseh’ cikgu, only talking to amalians and not with the others. well… if i got a good response n the discussion wasnt abt anyone private life (which that’s wot students love to talk about)… chat with the students. the teachers and admin well aware of the situation. so the principal took a step in changing the mind set about this amal, bakti, ehsan, iman and jujur thing. he mixed them all up. amal is not necessarily the best class except for form 4 and one, and jujur isnt the worst of them all. in fact best students for form 5 gathered in 5 jujur!!! second is bakti, 3rd is takwa, 4th is amal, 5th is ehsan and 6th is iman. the real troublemakers in school ( the ‘flying’ gang and bunsen burner gang ) are separated. like ust yazid said now, divide and rule… hahahaha. now, i’ve ust yazid and cikgu aishah BM with me.
we agreed that divide and rule is the best policy… hahahaha ciao 1st.. involved in heated discussion with them now (read gossiping…) hehehehehe
